EGI’s commitment through the EGI Foundation is to coordinate a federated compute, data and service
infrastructure that supports diverse research communities across Europe and their international
collaborators beyond.

4.12. EGI Cloud Compute (AppDB) - The received offer re-implements the needed AppDB functionality based on a modern registry service that consolidates the management of container and VM images in a single tool, simplifying the operations and reducing the complexity of the EGI services. The service will be potentially expanded to become a curated software repository for sharing software tools with support for FAIR principles. MUNI has experience in delivering Harbor, OpenStack and Kubernetes.

4.15. EGI Cloud Container Compute (Managed Kubernetes platform) - One offer received from MUNI, the partner selected for providing the services in the procurement activities.
