Popis | This study investigates the interplay between individual resilience, trusted information sources, and conspiracy thinking during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using representative survey data from the Czech Republic, we explore how different sources of COVID-19 information relate to individuals' resilience. The findings reveal that conspiracy thinking is both directly associated with and also moderates the studied association. While low and medium conspiracy thinkers benefit from expert-based information, high conspiracy thinkers show greater resilience when relying on online alternative media. The findings are contextualized within the complex role of trust and belief systems in shaping public responses during crises. |
