| Popis | Purposes of this study were (1) to develop a dynamic systems model for attachment preferences from infancy to emerging adulthood and (2) to validate an unclear part of our model, such as during a romantic breakup, using empirical data from longitudinal study Paths to adulthood. To explore the number of trajectories for attachment preferences after a romantic breakup, 63 emerging adults who experienced a romantic breakup within the last one year (mean age=21.59, SD=1.58) were included in analyses. Results showed that young adults may be compensating for their loss of romantic partner from one attachment figure not from multiple attachment figures. |
