Researcher Petr Holub will Receive the MUNI Scientist Award for the Second Time

The MUNI Scientist Award is awarded within the Grant Agency of Masaryk University (GAMU), and it is primarily an appreciation of top results and significant achievements in the field of research at MU. Our colleague Petr Holub will take home the award for the second time in his career, this time for the BioMedAI Twinning project.

The Department of Analysis and Cooperation of the IT Infrastructure Division deals with projects related to the processing of data that are used for scientific purposes. They facilitate scientists' access to important data and enable their smoother sharing, which contributes to clearer scientific work and helps to move science forward. Another Success of ICS: Published Article in a Prestigious Scientific Journal

The sign of successful research is, among others, the publication of the results in a respected journal, making it known to the broader scientific community. Our colleague, researcher Rudolf Wittner, recently succeeded in this and published his article in the prestigious journal Scientific Data published by Nature Publishing Group.

Warning: phishing campaign to misuse bank identity

We draw your attention to a phishing campaign that has been running since around the beginning of August. It uses the offer of a housing allowance from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs as a motive. Fraudulent messages are spread via e-mail or text messages.

We Are Implementing CESNET Services to IT Services Catalog of Masaryk University

Another successful project completed! In cooperation with the CESNET Development Fund, we focused on the implementation of their selected services into the MUNI IT services catalog. The goal was to reduce the operational burden of service owners from among CESNET experts and also to increase awareness of services among users from Masaryk University.
