| Description | Traditional prognostic markers of low-grade breast cancer are currently not sufficient for precise risk-group discrimination. Our effort was thus focused on biomarker discovery in this tumor group. Three proteomics approaches were involved in complex protein analysis of tissue lysates: SELDI-TOF MS, iTRAQ-2DLC-MS/MS and 2-D SDS-PAGE. Differentially expressed proteins belong to several functional groups related to breast cancer biology and are presented and discussed on the poster. |
