| Description | The presentation will focus on authentication in the Apache web server, with emphasis on scenarios combining Kerberos and other authentication methods. We will describe current state of the mod_auth_kerb module and features that have been implemented recently. Attention will be paid to possibilities how the module can co-exist with other Apache authentication modules, including the ones verifying passwords by other means (LDAP, local database, etc.). We will also introduce a new mapping module performing rule-based transformations of usernames, which makes it easier to combine multiple authentication methods and also application development. |
