| Description | The article provides an introduction to the security issues that can be seen in current grid environment. Mechanims are described that allow to establish a trusted system spanning multiple administative domains. It also discusses the use of certification authorities, and mechanisms for authorization in distributed systems. It stress the need for easy-to-use environment and the principle single sign-on. |
