| Description | This study presents a high-resolution continuum source electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (HR-CS ETAAS) method for the determination of total phosphorus in food and plant samples. The method, based on atomic absorption at the 213.618?nm spectral line, demonstrates adequate sensitivity with a sub-mg/L limit of detection and a wide calibration range. Under optimized atomization conditions and with an excess of Pd/Mg(NO3)2 modifier, spectral interferences are effectively suppressed, making the procedure robust and suitable for various matrices. The method’s performance and applicability were demonstrated through the analysis of five certified reference materials. |
