GAMU Award for Petr Holub for Top Results in the Research

Petr Holub, a member of the ICS management and a researcher, will receive an award from the Grant Agency of Masaryk University for top results and extraordinary achievements in the field of research at MUNI. The announcement will take place online at the GAMU Annual Conference on Thursday, December 10, in the afternoon with university management's participation.

We are Implementing Perun - Identity Management System for MUNI

On Sunday, November 1, we planned changes related to identity and access management. We are leaving the current complex and technically obsolete solution and replacing it with the Perun system. We also introduce a new IT service explicitly designed to manage groups and accesses in connection with it.

UCC is closed, other university computer rooms not yet. The university traffic-light system has turned yellow

Due to the current epidemiological situation Masaryk University decided that the university traffic-light system would turn yellow starting Monday, 21 September. The higher level of risk means that the university is closed to the public. Among other things, for example, the University Computer Centre is inaccessible.

We Have Migrated Faculty Online Services to our Infrastructure

Colleagues from the Faculty of Art took the offer of hosting their servers in our cloud environment and migrated almost all their online services to our infrastructure. Thanks to this, they not only saved the operating costs, but they also dropped the need to buy and maintain hardware and software.
