This year's third meeting of the IT community took place for the first time on the university campus. Its main goal has traditionally been primarily to create a space where staff from different IT centers across the university can meet and discuss current topics and issues in person.

The agenda of the meeting, which took place on Thursday, September 14, contained several key points. Filip Janovič, head of the IT services division, shared the current status of the projects that fall under their heading. There was also a preview of upcoming developments in the area of central procurement of IT equipment and recent changes regarding the use of NAT in the university's data network were discussed. Colleagues from the M365 support team introduced the participants to the planned changes they are preparing for users, and also informed about the planned innovations from Microsoft.

An important part of the meeting was a summary of the results of two projects that focused on mapping the Perun user interface and possible modifications in the Security dashboard. The Security dashboard itself was practically demonstrated and the faculties got the opportunity to participate in its use. A traditional part of the meeting was a window dedicated to cyber security, where members of the CSIRT-MU cybersecurity team warned about specific security threats that the university has faced recently, including phishing attacks.

Big thanks belong to Ondřej Myšák from CIT FF for the photos from the meeting.
