At the end of April, we organized the first meeting of the IT community this year, where representatives of local IT departments of faculties and other university centers presented plans for 2022 and looked back on the past year. It also included a visit to the recently opened monitoring center at the University Computer Centre.
The meeting took place on the afternoon of Thursday, April 21, in the attractive meeting room of the Academic Senate on Komenského náměstí. As organizers, we were pleased with the large number of participants, because meeting and sharing information and plans is an important part of building and ensuring a quality IT background for Masaryk University. It was interesting that the participants were divided in half according to the preference of the form of the meeting - 50 physically present and 50 online.
"I evaluate very positively how many representatives of individual IT centers came to share with colleagues the news and plans of their workplaces," said Filip Janovič, head of the IT services division.
