Description	This paper provides a detailed overview of the most significant publications and the history of mining in the interesting Humpolec area.Relics of historical gold mining works were mapped on a scale 1:3000 and in total 1259 workings were found. Many new huge placer mines and mining relics were found in the Trucbaba-Valcha Area.
