Description	This contribution summarizes and comments the most important published results on pre-Mesozoic lamprophyres of the Moravo-Silesian, Moldanubian, Kutná Hora-Svratka, Central Bohemian, Saxothuringian and Lusatian Region. The contribution also brings a current view on a definition and nomenclature of lamprophyres.
