| Description | Prosimetrum, the alternation of prose and verse, is a very old phenomenon, which existed in different national literatures and which has usually been associated with the so-called “Menippean satire”. The paper provides an analysis of the use of the prosimetrical style in the Mythologies of Fabius Planciades Fulgentius, a late ancient African author (5.-6. cent. AD). |
