| Description | It follows from the above-said that treatment of iatrogenic lesions of the surface of articular cartilage on femur condyles in miniature pigs after transplantation of mesenchymal stem cells in a composite scaffold based on collagen I containing micro- and nanofibers from chitosan resulted in filling of tissue defects in a hyaline type of cartilage. Lesions treated by implantation of scaffold alone or by micropicking were filled with fibrous cartilage with inferior macroscopic, histological and immunohistochemical parameters. |
