Description	We examined species environment relationships and temporal variation of macroinvertebrate assemblages along spring source- springbrook transects of two environmentally extreme and heterogeneous spring fen habitats: a calcareous fen with spatially variable tufa precipitation and a Sphagnum fen sharply heterogeneous in water mineral richness and pH. We explored macroinvertebrates and environmental variables along a longitudinal gradient of a 400 meters section of springbrooks.
