On the group of circular units of any compositum of quadratic fields

Description	This paper studies the group of circular units C of a compositum of quadratic fields. If the ramification index e at 2 is equal to 1 or 2 then we already know a basis and the index of C. Therefore this paper deals with the remaining case e = 4.
