Description	Rep-PCR with (GTG)5 primer and RAPD with M13 primer were used for typing of selected strains of genus Lactobacillus collected in Czech Collection of Dairy Microorganisms (CCDM) Laktoflora. Rep-PCR with (GTG)5 primer was more suitable than RAPD with M13 primer. Typing enabled to identified 1 strain into species L. acidophilus and 15 strains in L. helveticus. These results were confirmed with species specific PCRs. They were in accord with biochemical identification in 88% of strains.
