Description	This paper summarize results of the research on distribution of fen vegetation in the Vysoké Tatry region in Slovakia, realised during the last 5 years. The study was focused primarily on mineral-rich fens of the alliances Caricion davallianae, Sphagno-Tomenthypnion and Caricon fuscae, and partly also on poor fens of the Sphagno recurvi-Caricion canescentis alliance. Species composition of the vegetation, habitat preferences,distribution and endangerment of particular associations are discussed.
