| Description | We study the singular boundary value problem $(r(t)u')'+f(t,u)=0$, $t\in[0,\infty)$, $r(0)=0$, $u(t)>0$, $\lim_{t\to\infty}u(t)=0$ under quite general assumptions. The conditions guaranteeing its solvability are given, which yield some of the existing results when the equation reduces to special forms. |
