The rate of spirochaetal positivity in mosquito larvae

Description	In this study 1185 larvae of two mosquito species were examined. 154 were DFM positive for the presence of spirochaetes. In 6 positive samples the presence of borrelian DNA was found. The aim for the future is to determine genera/species of other spirochaetes occuring in mosquitoe larvae.
