| Description | Qualitative and quantitative data on a species-poor enchytraeid community are presented, including annual population dynamics. Whereas such assemblages consisting of only 1-3 species have been generally found in soils of very low pH, with Cognettia spp. being dominant, here such a community was found in a less acid but dry soil with one Fridericia and one Achaeta species dominating. |
