Description	The case study concerns the application of the cost-benefit analysis on the establishment and operation of the biotechnology cluster in the Southern Moravia region. The analysis is prepared as the ex-ante evaluation of the development project in the field of biotechnology; especially the economic costs and benefits connected with the project are being analyzed.
