| Description | We propose an~extension to the~GGF Grid Monitoring Architecture (GMA) where components with different features coexist independently and provide services under single unifying framework. The~infrastructure is responsible for transparent selection of the~best fitting components for each particular purpose. This is achieved through explicit meta-description of data requirements and component capabilities, allowing to build (virtual) overlay infrastructures. We demonstrate the concept on a~prototype implementation built on components coming from two existing systems---LB service (a~grid job monitoring service) and R-GMA (fairly general GMA implementation). |
