Description	Results in the synthesis and characterization of 1,3,5-trimethyl-2,4,6-tris(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)alumazene derivatives and studies of the reactions of alumazene with trimethylsilylesters of phosphonic acids. The reactions of alumazene with bis(trimethylsilyl)ester methylphosphonic aacids lead by dealkylsilylation to a bicyclic aluminophosphonate.
