Description	There were quantified cytotoxic and phototoxic effects of a potential photosensitiser indocyanine green (ICG) on HeLa cell culture. The phototoxic effect was achieved by a therapeutic laser Beutyline BTL-1O emitting light with wavelength of 830 nm. The cell survival was evaluated by MTT test. Result: The presupposed phototoxic effect was proven at such concentrations of ICG which have no cototoxic effect.
