Description	There was studied degradation of 4-nitrocatechol, 4-nitroguaiakol, 5-nitroguaiakol a 4-nitrofenol by Rhodococcus sp. isolated from soil. The strain is able to degrade 0.05mmol.l-1 of 4-nitrophenol and 4-nitroguaiacol in 22h. Moreover was studied the degradation of high concentrations of nitroaromates and the influence of heavy metals.
