| Description | Fast, reliable and precise cell nucleus boundary reconstruction algorithm is needed for automatic measuring of topographical parameters of the large number of cells or cell nuclei. A reconstruction method based on deformation of star-shaped simplex meshes is presented. The method was used for shape reconstruction of cell nuclei of HL-60 cells stained by DAPI (the whole volume of nuclei was visible in the input 3D images) and cell nuclei of HT-29 cells (nuclear envelope, i.e. surface of nucleus boundary, was visualized using Lamin B) |
