Description	The expansion of influence of xenophobic nationalism and populism is a controversial political issue which is much discussed in the present day European context. This topic is politicised and internationalised like never before. It seems that a taboo has been broken in this respect and that a rising critique and refusal of xenophobic nationalism could predetermine the character of European politics in the future period.
