| Description | We take a look at the Turkish deadjectival verb formation from a cross-linguistically informed perspective. There are four morphological classes of roots regarding the forms of the adjectival positive, comparative and the related deadjectival verbs. We capture the facts with a lexicalization algorithm where complex-left-branch formation precedes backtracking. We could not find a way to capture the pattern with the other order. |
