Description	The paper focused on the analysis and condition of the agricultural hinterlands of villages and other abandoned settlements in the Rokštejn–Brtnice estate from its establishment to its dissolution, with a comparison to the present state. A method for landscape analysis and the reconstruction of the medieval state of land use and parceling was presented.
