Description Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a multidrug-resistant pathogen requiring alternative therapies. This study evaluated antibacterial and antibiofilm effects of five cathelicidins, naturally occurring antimicrobial peptides, and their combinations against 19 clinical strains. All tested strains were susceptible to at least one cathelicidin. The LL-37/SMAP-29 combination exhibited the strongest synergistic effect.
