Description This study lists published bone and antler objects that have been found in Czech territory and fall in the period of the high and late Middle Ages. The list is the first compiled for Czech territory, and it might thus seem that objects made of this material from the observed period were rarely found in this country, or not at all. However, the list of different groups of artefacts shows that objects made of hard animal materials were part of everyday life in medieval society. Last but not least, the paper examines the production materials (bone and antler) and their availability in the period under study.
