| Description | The book investigates the present and past verb forms in the Friulian dialect spoken in Tualis. It provides both a detailed empirical description and a theoretical account of thirteen inflection classes in the Friulian verb system within the framework of Nanosyntax. The analysis also employs two recent innovations in the nanosyntactic paradigm: the consistent application of the subextracting Spellout Algorithm and Complex Left Branch trees. This approach captures the correct root-suffix pairing, root suppletion, syncretism, including ABA patterns. |
