| Description | Verified technology used to create computational models for designing eco-friendly high-voltage equipment or their components in alternative gases to SF6, specifically in mixtures of fluoronitrile C3F7CN+CO2+O2, and in compressed air. A unique streamer discharge model in these gases that models the discharge dynamics in volume and on the surfaces of insulators and quantifies the resulting volume and surface recruitment. This model is connected to the SD model of the developed HV equipment. Thus, it is possible to determine the dielectric strength of gases in HV equipment even in the presence of solid insulators, determine the breakdown voltage, and design structural modifications. |
