Description | We are witnessing a new digital transformation aiming to upskill IoT (Internet of Things) entities using AI (Artificial Intelligence). This transformation requires a focus on sociocultural acceptance of IoT technologies. However, it also requires preparing our society for this imminent era of fully autonomous things to ensure mutual trust between humans and things. Within this regard, this paper proposes the first version of a trust framework based on the Internet of Behaviors (IoB), aiming to consider human-in-the-loop and moderate the increasing complexity of IoT ecosystems. It introduces mainly the role of IoB in reshaping the trustworthiness assessment to build mutual trust between humans and things, aiding the seamless integration of autonomous IoT technologies in our society. |
