Description	The pilot data suggested an inhibitory effect of antagomir againts miR-142-5p on spontaneous electrical activity of neurons. If the final data confirmed this finding, a decrease in the expression of this miRNA might be considered as a potential alternative treatment of phyrmacoresistant epilepsy.
