| Description | One year ACE inhibitor therapy in 11 patients with essential hypertension was found to cause a decrease in red blood cell counts , together with an increased corpuscular volume in these erythrocytes. Thus, IACE therapy could influence local RAS system in blood-forming bone marrow. |
