| Description | The aim of this verified technology was to perform experiments on plasma treatment of Polypropylene Spunbond (PP SB) 30 gsm non-woven textile to enhance the adhesion properties between the material and the deposited Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) nanofibers for their future usage as air and water filters. A Diffuse Coplanar Surface Barrier Discharge (DCSBD) was used as a plasma source. Two configurations of electrodes (planar and curved) were tested in ambient air. |
