| Description | This talk is a part of a debate discussing the choice between two current theories of morphology, namely Nanosyntax and DM. I was asked to address the following three questions: Is late insertion necessary, and if so, why? Is lexical insertion governed by the subset or by the superset principle? What explains the lexical integrity hypothesis. |
