| Description | Thermodynamic re-assessment of the Co-Sb system based on results of microstructure measurements and results from differential thermal analysis performed on alloys covering 0.80-0.99 at. % of Sb are reported. It was found that the previously experimentally described and assessed phase diagrams of this binary system are not in full agreement in the Sb-rich part which is of serious interest for existence CoSb3 phase with skutterudite structure. The information is important for study of thermal stability of skutterudite based thermoelectric materials. |
