| Description | Bacteria from Photorhabdus genus are in the centre of scientific interest due to their complex life cycle. It involves two different stages - pathogenicity and mutualism - with two different intervertabrate hosts. Lectins, as proteins mediating cell to cell interactions, may play crucial role in Photorhabdus life-cycle. This work compares crystallographic structures of 3 identified lectins from Photorhabdus spp - PLL, PHL and PLU34. |
