Description	Safeguarding Europe’s energy security in respect of natural gas through diversification is the European Union’s long-term strategic objective. This contribution focuses on new diversification initiatives, analysing two projects geared towards supplying Central and South-Eastern Europe: the Slovak Eastring project and the Rumanian BRUA project.
