Description *A multichannel measurement system for measuring of physical variables (tension, compression, bending, etc.) by using optical sensors based on Bragg gratings. The functional sample of the measurement systems utilizes a quite new approach for optical spectrum evaluation. This solution is based on fibre Bragg grating and piezoactuator replaces the older expensive filter for frequency tracking. The functional sample in an industry-grade implementation is designed to verify the methodology in a pilot project with assumption for subsequent mass production. Prospective users are automation, chemical, gasworks, and mining industry and implementations in harsh environment like environment with risk of explosion or fire or environment with high interference (EMI).
