| Description | The laboratory of bioanalytical instrumentation relies on modern analytical tools, such as high-throughput matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TOF MS), capillary electrophoresis and their mutual interfacing, with the application focus in the field of proteomics and metallomics. Two projects will be mentioned in this contribution: application of gold nanoparticles in surface-assisted desorption/ionization TOF MS for analysis of small molecules and development of new sample introduction techniques for inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry and its possible employment for nanoparticle characterization. |
