Long Live Research Data: The National EOSC CZ 2025 Conference Brought the Latest Topics in Research Data Management and Sharing to Ostrava

More than 100 research data experts gathered in Ostrava for the EOSC CZ Conference. The programme offered keynote talks, panel discussions and hands-on workshops. The event opened with Tomáš Kozubek from IT4Innovations, who presented the latest updates from the national supercomputing centre.

TEHDAS2: Health Data as a Key to Innovation. Representatives of Masaryk University Among Experts at the International EHDS Meeting

At the international meeting TEHDAS2 – Health Data Policy into Practice, held on 9 October 2025, Zdenka Dudová, lead of the Sensitive Data working group within the EOSC CZ initiative, represented the Czech community. She is involved in preparing methodological guidelines and technical specifications for the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS).

The Researchers’ Night attracted more than 600 curious visitors

This year’s Researchers’ Night, held on the last Friday of September, attracted thousands of visitors across the country. As in previous years, our two teams also took part in the programme of this popular science event. In the KYPO Lab at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University, we presented two forms of “wealth” hidden in data and in cyberspace.
