Popis This article reevaluates the relationship between populism and environmental attitudes as they relate to climate change and energy production. Relying on an original survey conducted with almost two thousand participants from Czechia, the article highlights the role of the core elements of populism – and especially anti-elitism – in shaping public climate attitudes. Studying the intersection of populism and environmentalism in Czechia, where the coal mining industry is strong, also reveals practical solutions aimed simultaneously at both populism and public environmental/energy concerns.
