| Description | Teachers' inclusive practices are widely recognised as a key component of inclusive education. This study aimed to investigate the practices teachers employ to include all students and how these practices are perceived by students in two highly inclusive schools in the Czech Republic. Drawing on an extensive ethnographic dataset, which includes hours of classroom observations and interviews with six teachers, two teaching assistants, and all 42 students across two classrooms, we propose a new framework for inclusive practices. This framework is built around five core inclusive practices and ten strategies that teachers use to meet the diverse educational needs of their students. By incorporating student perspectives, we also identified key challenges in implementing these core inclusive practices. |
