Webinar EOSC Landscaping
The EOSC Landscaping webinar dedicated to the issue of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) will take place on Tuesday 23 June from 10 am to 12 noon. The main topic will be the presentation of the results of the EOSC survey among Czech research infrastructures, e-infrastructures and science donors.
Among the speakers will be the director of the Institute of Computer Science Luděk Matyska and Michal Růžička, head of the department of Data Security and Management (also from the ICS). UCC is closed, other university computer rooms not yet. The university traffic-light system has turned yellow
Due to the current epidemiological situation Masaryk University decided that the university traffic-light system would turn yellow starting Monday, 21 September. The higher level of risk means that the university is closed to the public. Among other things, for example, the University Computer Centre is inaccessible.
We Have Migrated Faculty Online Services to our Infrastructure
Colleagues from the Faculty of Art took the offer of hosting their servers in our cloud environment and migrated almost all their online services to our infrastructure. Thanks to this, they not only saved the operating costs, but they also dropped the need to buy and maintain hardware and software.
